Found in jail ... aspiring actress Edmarie Lafontaine-Perez was reported missing, feared abducted.
HER parents said when their young daughter called she was frantic, stating that she feared for her life and was being chased.

The police were told by Lafontaine-Perez’s parents in Puerto Rico that they feared the aspiring actress may have be abducted and forced into the sex trade.
“We don’t want to think about that and punish ourselves but it’s a possibility she may be a victim of human trafficking,” her terrified father Edwin Lafontaine said at the time.
The Department of Homeland Security’s human trafficking department began investigating. Lafontaine-Perez’s clothes were found in a room at the Candlewood Motel in Fort Lauderdale, but she was not found.
The police search intensified and her parents flew to the US.

Now her shocked parents plan to meet with their daughter in prison.
Her mother, Manuela Perez, told Univision Radio she was unsure how her daughter ended up in jail.
“I have not spoken to her, but in due time we will know,” she said. “Thank God my daughter is fine and it is a miracle.”
