FUNERAL home workers preparing to embalm the body of a 78-year-old man were shocked to find him alive and kicking in a body bag.

Walter Williams from Mississippi in the US died on Wednesday and was taken to Porter and Sons Funeral Home the next day.

But as his family grieved, the long-time farmer’s pacemaker suddenly began working again, WAPT News reported.

Coroner Dexter Howard called it a miracle, while family members were overjoyed to have Williams back.
“I stood there and watched them put him in a body bag and zipped it up,” Williams’ nephew, Eddie Hester, said.

“I don’t know how long he’s going to be here, but I know he’s back right now. That’s all that matters”
Funeral home worker Byron Porter said it’s the first time he’d ever seen anything like it.
Williams, a school board member, is recovering in hospital.
