FUNERAL home workers preparing to embalm the body of a 78-year-old
man were shocked to find him alive and kicking in a body bag.
Walter Williams from Mississippi in the US died on Wednesday and was taken to Porter and Sons Funeral Home the next day.But as his family grieved, the long-time farmer’s pacemaker suddenly began working again, WAPT News reported.
“I stood there and watched them put him in a body bag and zipped it up,” Williams’ nephew, Eddie Hester, said.
“I don’t know how long he’s going to be here, but I know he’s back right now. That’s all that matters”
Funeral home worker Byron Porter said it’s the first time he’d ever seen anything like it.
Williams, a school board member, is recovering in hospital.
