A 41-year-old man has been taken into custody after a woman and two children were stabbed at a home in Brisbane’s inner-east.

The 39-year-old woman managed to call triple-0 from the house on D'Arcy Road, Carina, about 6.30am on Sunday.

Officers arrived at the low-set house to find the woman, her seven-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter with serious stab wounds.

A 41-year-old man, understood to be the woman's husband, was arrested at the scene and taken for questioning.
