CRYSTAL PALACE'S trip to Everton has been postponed 30 minutes prior to kick off after high winds caused building damage around Goodison Park

Everton confirmed the match had been called-off on the advice of the Police via twitter.
The fixture became the second victim of the extreme weather currently gripping Britain.

Everton said: "BREAKING NEWS: Tonight's game has been called off due building damage which has led to safety concerns.

hey later went on to clarify exactly why the game had been abandoned.
The club tweeted: "POSTPONEMENT: Tonight's game has been postponed on police advice because of damage to buildings on Goodison Road.

Manchester City against Sunderland also fell foul of the weather about 30 minutes before Everton announced their game was off.
