After photos emerged from Arsenal training of Mathieu Flamini and Jack Wilshere arguing on Friday, many feared the duo had a major bust up.


The release of the snaps follows on from a row Flamini had with Mesut Ozil during the weekend, causing suggestions that there might be a rift within the Gunners’ camp.

Those suggestions were further increased when Wilshere posted up an apparent snap of him being punched by Flamini on the Arsenal coach.

However, fans can rest about suggestions of a rift within the squad, with the latest image just Wilshere’s way of mocking suggestions he has fallen out with his team-mate.

‘Just read I had a ‘bust up’ in training today! That’s news to me! Anyway….who would mess with Flamini? #Nutter,’ he tweeted.

‘Flam was not happy when I walked on the bus tonight! Sorry mate I promise to never disagree with you again!! #Angry.’
Flamini, famed for his rugged approach, looks like he’ll be saving his aggression for the pitch in future.
