ARSENE WENGER has hinted that Arsenal are busy trying to sort out a deal for Friday's January transfer deadline.

But Mikel Arteta, himself only just back from a calf injury, has vowed that the team will fight through.
"That happens and we have to deal with it," the Spaniard said.
"The schedule is really busy now - we have some really tough games coming up in the next two weeks and we have to deal with it and do our best.
"We had many options but that is one problem that we have had in the last few weeks: we have had a lot of injuries, losing Theo Walcott for a long time, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is just coming back, too many.
Speaking after seeing his side earn a 2-2 draw
against Southampton last night, Wenger said he hoped to have more
information about the club's ongoing dealings soon.
"I hope we have something to tell you [on signings by Friday]," he said.
It follows news that the Gunners have made a ‘take it or leave it’ bid of £24.7m for Schalke star Julian Draxler.
Arsenal
have proposed a deal with various add-ons in a bid to land the German
international by Friday, who Wenger views as a striker in the Thierry
Henry mould rather than the attacking midfield role he
currently specialises in.
The north London outfit could be usurped at the top of the Premier League on Wednesday evening after being held by the Saints.
