ONE of Chelsea's most trusted scouts, Guy Hillion, has blasted Gael
Kakuta, claiming he is the best of his generation but is wasting his
career.
Hillion said: "Frankly, I don't know why he put an end to his stay with the Dutch club.
"It is a huge waste. I already said it and I repeat it, he is the most gifted player of his generation.
"He could have been exceptional.
"But talent is not enough. When you pile on failures and there is trouble in any club where you played, you have to ask the right questions and question yourself.
"There was Bolton, Fulham and Dijon too. You can't manage everything in a player's career.
"You can't manage what is on his mind, his entourage or his family."
Kakuta was involved in a controversial transfer to the Blues which saw Chelsea being handed a two-window transfer ban.
FIFA decided that Chelsea had broken rules by encouraging Kakuta to break his contract with Lens.
The ban was eventually lifted after the two clubs settled the dispute.
But
the man who was instrumental in educating Chelsea about the now
22-year-old midfielder, Guy Hillion, has said he is wasting his career
following another unsuccessful loan move.
Gael Kakuta was at Vitesse Arnhem in Holland but the spell was called to a halt early.
Hillion said: "Frankly, I don't know why he put an end to his stay with the Dutch club.
