ARSENAL made contact with Sebastian Giovinco's representatives over a
potential move earlier this week, but a deal is still a long way away.
Arsenal have made contact over a move for Giovinco
Pasqualin said: “There’s been a request for information but a deal is still far from being done.
“It is logical that that the interest of a club like Arsenal is flattering and something to be proud of, but, once again, at the moment there are no negotiations underway between Juventus and the Gunners.
“Could Giovinco leave Juventus in January? Absolutely not, that hypothesis can be excluded.
With a growing injury list at the Emirates the
idea of a loan deal for the Italian midfielder until the end of the
season was floated with the player.
Giovinco has only started twice this term and the player is getting worried about his World Cup chances.
But
now, Claudio Pasqualin, Giovinco's agent, has reiterated that there has
been contact, but said a move is far from a done deal.
