The Croydon born model is a huge fashion icon all over the world and shows no signs of slowing down as she reaches this massive milestone.


Kate has been cast in gold by sculptor Marc Quinn, painted naked by Lucian Freud and appeared on countless billboards and glossy magazine pages - including over 30 Vogue covers.  Over the past 26 years she has become the most enduring and influential British fashion model of all time.
From Topshop to Burberry and Calvin Klein to Playboy this stylish beauty has dominated the fashion world with her slender figure and elusive mystic.

JEANS: Kate Moss shot to fame after these shots of her modelling Calvin Klein jeans topless went global 

 

A fresh faced Kate, who was first spotted by a talent scout at JFK airport aged 14, shot to fame in the Calvin Klein ads in 1992, when she was just 18.  As part of the campaign she posed topless and had to straddle model Mark Wahlberg-which she later admitted made her feel very uncomfortable.

SHINY: The supermodel is a big fan of silver tailoring

Kate Moss flaunted her figure aged 39 as the cover star of Playboy's 60th edition. She flaunted her razor-sharp cheekbones, and slender figure in a series of exposing shots - proving the model has still got it as she saunters into her 40th year.

And the iconic model will be celebrating her birthday in style today on Richard Branson's Caribbean island retreat with celebrity friends including Sadie Frost, hairdresser James Brown and Annabelle Nielson and husband Jamie Hince.
