CARDIFF have made their third signing of the January transfer window by
bringing in Norwegian international striker Jo Inge Berget.
“He’s a forward and full Norwegian International and arrives on a very good deal for us.
"He knows the way I want to play, he’s a secondary frontman and is a very strong and intelligent footballer. He’ll do well for us.”
Berget was part of Solskjaer's Molde side that won the Norwegian top flight in 2011 and 2012 as well as the domestic cup in 2013 and is a player the former Manchester United man knows well.
Berget started his career at Lyn Oslo before moving to Molde in 2011 from Udinese.
Inge Berget signs on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee from Molde FK.
The 23-year-old becomes the third Norwegian to join the Bluebirds as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer puts his stamp on the Welsh club.
Berget joins Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Moller Daehli as Cardiff's new boys.
Solskjaer said: “I’m delighted to welcome Jo to the club.
"He went through his medical last night and signed his contract this morning.
