MANCHESTER City are a cut above everyone else – but it’s too early to call them great.
GOOD BUT NOT GREAT: Manchester City have been fantastic this season but can't be called great just yet
You can’t compare them to Arsenal’s
‘Invincibles’ or Manchester United’s Treble winners because they have
won nothing this season.
It’s OK to score goals for fun, and they do that, but you have to win two or three titles in a row to be called great.
Don’t forget, it’s not so long ago they were ripped to shreds by Bayern Munich.
City
are the team everyone else wants to beat, and the way they brushed West
Ham aside 9-0 on aggregate in the Capital One Cup semi-finals was
phenomenal.
But I still think they are too loose
in midfield. When Yaya Toure goes forward, they only have one in there
mopping up. It’s very open.
I don’t think City
will run away with the Premier League. Chelsea have just started to get
going, and Arsenal will keep on hanging around.
City
might not be able to keep on scoring goals at their current rate – and
if that happens, then it’s game on for everyone else.
